Deeridge Derby Weekend 

The inaugural 2017 Deeridge Derby Weekend, presented by the USHJA Foundation, at Deeridge Farms is a three-day equestrian competition featuring world-class hunter derby action.

 

When: March 3-5, 2017

 

Where: Deeridge Farms, Wellington, Florida

 

Deeridge Farms is a 300-acre oasis of calm and beauty set in the heart of the winter equestrian capital of the world in Wellington, Florida. The Deeridge Derby Weekend will be held here for the first time in 2017 at an exclusive and stunning setting for a truly first-class event.

Highlights:

 

Friday

$5,000 International Hunter Derby Welcome Stake – 10:30 a.m.

$2,500 National Derby Welcome Stake – 2 p.m.

 

Saturday

$5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby – 10 a.m.

$50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, presented by the National Horse Show (first round) – 2:30 p.m.

 

Sunday

$2,500 Pony Derby – 9:30 a.m. (second round scheduled for approximately 11 a.m.)

$50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, presented by the National Horse Show (second round) – 1 p.m.

Parking information: The Deeridge Derby Weekend event will have its own entrance via 120th Avenue just north of the International Polo Club in Wellington, with parking at Deeridge Farms for spectators and sponsors. Valet parking will also be available. Competitors will need to access the property via the Deeridge Farms entrance off of Southfields Road.
