Are you looking for a fresh start to your weekend? Why not venture out to the Wellington Green Market open Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Local artisans, farmers, along with local vendors fill up the parking lot of the Village of Wellington Community Center to offer their goods for all to enjoy. Getting to enjoy the market outdoors is an added benefit, especially now while the weather is beautiful. It also makes it a great place to bring your family and pets for some fresh air as well. There is something for everyone from fresh produce and herbs to handmade bracelets and jewelry. There are other great gift ideas too! The apple cider donuts, fresh breads and pastries offer a great alternative to breakfast before you stop in. I, myself, sampled the apple cider donuts and could easily see myself there every Saturday to enjoy them. For those of you finding yourselves with less time this holiday season, not to worry, the Green Market will be open now through the end of April 2015. While some of the vendors can be visited from week to week, you can find some new vendors to visit every trip. I hope you are able to make it out to enjoy everything the Green Market has to offer and you never know, you might spot me there too, by the donuts.
